Finally finished my 3" exhaust. Running the ATP 3" downpipe and a full custom exhaust from the DP back. No cats, 14" MangaFlow muffler in the mid pipe and a Magnaflow Race muffler on each 2.5" exit pipe.
Low end spool is a lot smoother, a little power did shift to the mid range, but it's feels great. A better flowing manifold and head will help a lot. Mid range hit hard and top end keeps on pulling.
Installed powerflex lower torque arm inserts. Boy was it a pain in the a$$. Not as easy as it was in my R53. Needed to trim a little here and there. Having a 1x30 belt grinder made quick work in shaving it down nicely. There's not a lot of room to work with in maneuvering that torque arm and then with the added poly inserts, it doesn't flex much. What I thought would be a 15 min job turned into a all morning job.
A little more NVH but I was used to it since I had it in my R53 before.

Installed Hawk HPS pads. A noticeable improvement. Still though of all the improvements I've done to my car the biggest, most impressive one was the bavsound speakers. Absolute night and day difference.
Yep went with the competition. I went back and forth with the idea of not doing it but for the dollar amount of the up charge and ideas of bigger upgrades down the line i just went with it.

I actually went through ECS it looks like they offer the same price point its possible it has MAP (minimum advertised price) so vendors generally have the same price. ECS offered free shipping on the competition not sure that wagner does...

I didn't manage one but I will snap one for you tomorrow. Getting the piano trim is my next thing to do.
