Installed my OEM retrofit xenon headlights, and had a bunch of things coded onto the mini last night. Huge difference in light output. I can actually see the road over those stock halogens.

Really nice...!!..the new lights and the hall car..
those look mean as **** man, are they 205/55/17?
they look bigger
Sorry, I wasn't getting notifications and kind of went AWOL for a while! lol
They are actually 215/60/R16. I bought the FOCAL wheels new so I could get a tire with more meat on it than a 17" wheel.
They were awesome through the winter!
I'm actually putting them up for sale today, with the wheels.
I just put on some new NOKIAN WR G4.
What did I do to my Counrtyman today? I called the insurance company about a broken windshield... I just bought my R60 on May 27th. Not even 2 weeks later, cracked windshield. Bleh...
Day of purchase. Crack in windshield. Rock hit on highway yesterday from an idiot who tried to drive on the shoulder.

I'm on my 4th windshield (and it now has 2 large cracks). The second one I had installed at the dealer while in for maintenance got broke as I pulled out onto the highway in front of the dealership....I didn't even get a mile before it was broke. Unfortunately insurance in Colorado is based on your deductible, which in my case is $1000 so I have to pay out of pocket for every replacement. It's really the only issue I've had with my MINI...knock on wood.
Fourth? That really stinks. Especially on the 5 minute old windshield. I thought my less than 2 weeks was bad. Luckily AZ has full glass replacement, but I’m driving to VA in about a week where I will reside for an 18 month work detail. All after detuctable there just like CO.
I got tired of waiting to fix my turbo, still can’t start that until Thursday, but I went out and removed the factory pre-Intercooler charge pipe with the stupid muffler/resonator in it, and put on the new one from M7. I am surprised at the difference just changing the pipe makes! Quicker spooling, better throttle response, and a bit deeper tone....and it seems that you can hear the pops and burbles a little bit better
Finished up my project, put a JM40 turbo and catless downpipe in “Duncan”. Even with the secondary cat and resonator and stock muffler in place still, he sounds mean! Pops and burbles are LOUD! I love it! Lol. Still working out a couple of gremlins but he is fully driving again after being down for two days. Having a weird surge where I can hear it dumping boost cyclically and power drops off then surges as the valve shuts again....???? Have an email in to JMTC, I’m sure I’ll get this figured out, but at the moment I’m a little stumped. It only happens under mild acceleration (1/4 throttle) but not if I ease into it or get on it. When I step into it IT GOES! Torque steer today for the first time ever! Maybe the ECU just needs time to adjust? It a little bit better today than it was yesterday. Well.... fingers crossed. Cheers!!
Got my airbag issue fixed! Turns out there are accelerometers on the frame rails under the headlights. Less than ten minutes this morning I pulled the headlight on the drivers side and sure enough, there was a loose plug hanging there! Plugged it in, no more problems! And the turbo is all good, got the boost adjusted and I am loving it! Arric at JMTC was instrumental in figuring out what was wrong! Great service, I’ll buy from them again any day.
