Kind of weird but our 2012 Countryman is listed as a Station Wagon on the GA Title. Guess they didn't know what to call it.

 

Here in Quebec, it is listed as a SUV...

 

My Clubman is labeled that way in Wisconsin too. I guess that makes a little more sense, but I'm not complaining. I wonder if it makes a difference on insurance premiums? I don't know for sure, but I do know that I was surprised when I found out my new premiums were only a few dollars higher than my old 2002 Passat.

 

That is what I call them too. Love sporty station wagons.

 

I'd call it a "very small crossover", since there isn't much pure cargo space in the back to deem it a wagon in my view.

 

My Aunt, in England, calls it an "Estate Car". I'm still wondering where my "estate" is? :-)

 

Both my Ford Flex and my Countryman are listed as Station Wagons here in TX. They couldn't be any more different...

 

Yes, perfect! Fits in with Mini's English heritage. I also own a VW Jetta Sportwagen (US term), but the same car is sold in the UK as the Golf Estate.
