who splurged for the rear spoiler

debating whether it is worth the $250 and does it keep the snow from accumulating on the rear windshield wiper.

Thanks for your question. It's the first I've realized that the spoiler is optional on the justa CM.

I don't know about the snow, but it does not keep dirt from accumulating on the rear window from dirt-road driving.

Looking at the car, the spoiler does not overhang the wiper, so I don't see how it will help with keeping snow off.

I got one because I didn't like the look without it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1884327...57626019236648

Agreed. If it wasn't standard on my CTM I would have ordered it.

Ditto! I have a Justa, and the spoiler adds to the sportier look, not so "rounded" out back as without the spoiler! Go for it....

I don't know anything about snow since I moved to So Cal 12 years ago, but there's no doubt that the spoiler looks cool. For $250, "looks cool" is reason enough to get it, right?

I have the All4, which mandates the spoiler. I was originally going to order without one as I thought it gave the whole thing a little more of a space capsule look.

So there's at least one dissenting voice to getting one... it all depends on how you feel about spoilers I guess.

thank you all

ive been reading / following this forum for many months....this active community and mini enthusiasts / loyalists convinced me that buying a mini countryman was the right move for me. so yesterday i finalized my justa and got the royal grey, with black top (and spoiler), black rims, black headlight housing, xenon, adaptive headlights, premium package, winter package, black gravity leather, bench seat, all season tires, automatic. now the wait begins. thanks for all of your sound advice.

Spoiler is standard in Canada - but I don't think it is because of our snow

Our CM is SO MUCH MORE $$$ here so they have to give you some things I guess.

I looked at a non-S CM today, and it had a spoiler and operative fog lights even though they weren't listed on the window sticker. My salesperson said that the configurator overcharges sometimes.
