R60 Grill Badge Collecting
I like the black and white version of this one for your silver MINI - with the chrome badge holder to match your mirror caps of course.
To say they are addictive is a gross understatement...
I seem to have a problem - I can't stop buying these things! I started out with just one on there but now I've got a second one that I'll put on soon. Then today I saw the new bumper bar they made... so I ordered that and 3 more badges. I think my favorite is still my first one:

I was able to request a different color combination of an existing 3D badge so I just ordered this one today:

Other badges I either have or have on order:

Here's my badge collection so far:

The "BLACK ICE" namesake badge is a custom Go-Badge. The others are cheap 3" refrigerator magnets I swap around.
I have a dual flat rear plate mount and single flat grill mount on which I have normal vinyl stickers: "SCCA" sticker on the grill mount, "OLYMPICS" and "NRA" stickers on the rear plate dual mount. No fuss, no removal at car washes and no sticker goo on my car!
I just slap the magnet badges on over the vinyl stickers when the mood hits me...

Can someone tell me how secure the badges are when you fasten them to the grill (or using the license plate holders I've seen) ? I'm concerned that when I drive around with my grill badges on and park somewhere (like the mall or the supermarket) that someone will steal the badges...I wouldn't be so concerned if I lived in a nice, small town, but living in a major metropolitan area like I do it's more of a concern. I don't went to spend the money and then feel like I can only use them at certain times...
I can't speak to the quality of go badges, but I can tell you I had another badge holder on my '06 I literally took off tonight and the magnet on it had been there since July of '06. So basically 6 years with no problems including automatic car washes.
I've had mine on with velcro for a few weeks now and have gone through a few car washes with no issues.
I'm glad I saved 7-8 hundred dollars and didn't order the driving lights on my new countryman. I had them on my '03 hardtop, and almost NEVER used them, I just liked how they looked. I'll get these instead and accomplish almost the same look, for much less money. They are a little less subtle than the driving lights, but that may not be a bad thing.
