Hello All,
I am the proud new owner of a 13 CM S, took a quick pic today and thought I would post. Traded my 13 SpiceOrange Hardtop for the extra room. So far I am loving it!!
On a side note, I must say I like my NC water a little more than what you are having Tundrageek!
First Time Mini Owner –*Black on Black on Black R60!
Stealth mode!
Morning, NAM!
Just signed the papers last night...will pick it up on Saturday. Then it's time to plasti-dip the chrome trim (the previous owner either used something else or did a **** job...) to get the thing lookin' reallllll stealth.
Name suggestions? I'm thinkin' Donnie Brasco – the undercover name of one of the best FBI mafia agents. Just cuz' the black on black on black plus the badge delete on the back is sort of undercover too!
Any tips for protecting the car in NYC (parked on the street, unfortunately) would be much appreciated as well. I already have a pair of "BumpShox" for some base level protection, but if you have any strategies that worked for you, let me know.
I bought his 2012 MCS Countryman this past Monday. I have the original invoice but do not see any JCW options listed but to me it looks like I have a JCW front and rear bumper ... is that correct? Needs new tires and I will be going from RF to Standard Tires geared more for rough country roads/snow rather than high performance.
This is my 3rd Mini, and love the difference in the ride compared to the R53 and R56. It had a clean CarFax with 59,219. Living in a rural area outside a small town I am lucky to have a Top Tier rated gas station within 10 miles from my house and a local mech in town with a BMW background and works on the other 3 Mini's in this small town.
I'll take more photos later after I replace the tires.

JCW has a splitter on the bottom.

Thanks, I can tell the difference now that I see yours. I overlooked that detail when I originally looked at your pictures. I thought it was kind of weird to assume that it had one since it was not listed anywhere on the original invoice.
