The roof and wheel color perceive to change it. If you went with a white roof, white stripes and silver wheels, it would look totally different

 

this color changes all the time based on light, especially florescent and daylight. Waiting for some time to get some good pics but this will have to do

 

Wow..it's amazing how different the color is indoors and out. One def looks more blue, one more teal....

My CMs is at the VDC in Georgia! It is just a matter of days!

Post yours too. MINI lounge still says it's at VDC but I notice the next "step" is the dealership so I won't know when it's being transported.

 

We picked her up today! So many things to get a feel for. Love it so far. Really fun to drive. I will try to post pix tomorrow, although it was wet today and so it might have to be given a rinse. So happy with the color and I love the blue interior trim.

what other colors did y'all consider before deciding on Surf Blue? any regrets on the surf blue color?

i decided to go with surf blue after seeing true blue in person. i was almost set on TB because of the pictures and was hoping it was closer to the blue of the Scion xB release series 8.0 (my current car is a bright green 06 scion xb release series 3.0), but while attractive in some (really pale in some... Yuck!) pictures it leaves something to be desired in person. The dealer didnt have any SB in stock so i only saw the "true color" piece. im excited to see it in person... when it finally gets over here! contrary to the TB, the SB looked great in some pictures and pretty good in others which is why i decided to go with it... it never looked bad. haha!
i had also toyed around with the absolute black, because of the business I'm in but... black cars are too hard to keep clean!

 

If you don't like the Surf blue one minute--wait a bit--it changes
I almost went TB too--so glad I didn't.

 

Any pictures to show off yet?! Can't wait to see her!

And I have been commiserating with y'all! I was gung-ho to order mine, but when my MA said they had one in the pipeline with everything I wanted except leather I jumped at it. I only had to wait 17 days and that was hard enough!
As for leather, my last 2 cars had it. I think the faux leather seats look and feel really good. They're not your Dad's vinyl seats from back in the day.

 

Oh yes, I also wasn't planning on the surf blue colorline interior even tho I thought it might be cool. But mine has it and I LOVE it. It is so unusual!

 

That's cool that you got that chance! I had actually thought about getting the tobacco color line, but after seeing some photos here and on another site, I decided I'd go back to my original choice of surf blue for the color line. I'm happy with my choice and can't wait to see it in person.
