How many people went through this decision and what were their deciding factors? Does anyone have experience fitting a road bike in the back of either with the backseats down? How does it fit? Is the space with the back seats down bigger on one version compared to the other?

Never tried a road bike, but a mountain bike is doable in either the Clubman or Countryman. It's just a lot easier/spacious in the Countryman...

The difference, I find, is mainly in the width...
