Does anyone else have a rattle near the top (lock area) of the driver side door?

If so, has anyone had it diagnosed/resolved?

 

Yes. No. I actually have it on both sides. Both doors have rattles/buzzes in different places depending on the day. Near the handle area (passenger door), lock area (both doors), seatbelt area (both doors), whole door panel (both doors...pressing in on the armrest stops it)...Not sure if there was a molding issue with the parts or what, but I also had window squeaks that needed to be resolved with teflon tape, so maybe my whole car is a bit out of whack.

 

Have a really annoying rattle in the passenger's door, but nice and tight on the driver side. I suspect it's only a matter of time before one develops there.

Sometimes pushing or pulling on the handle or oval trim stops it for a bit.

Haven't had it diagnosed yet since I live 60 miles from the dealer.

 

After only having my Mini for 3 weeks, I noticed a rattle in the drivers door and also a rattle on the dash. I took it in to the dealer and they kept it for 5 days!!!
They drove it around and never heard the rattles. On the 5th day I called saying I wanted my car back. They said they would install insulation in the door panel but they didn't want to take the dash apart just yet. They told me to drive it around some more and see if it continues to rattle.

 

I have the rattle by the lock area too. Only noticed it when the doors do not auto lock.

 

Just noticed today that I have something like a piece of plastic rolling around in the driver's side door panel. It's quite obvious when I taking a turn at 30mph or so.

Should I bother the dealer about this? I just purchased the thing a week ago...
