Who's on the MC 2012
 

Not exactly the same as waiting for a ship to cross the Atlantic (much worse!) but who else is patiently awaiting model year 2012? I just found out that unless something crazy happens, I'll be getting a 2012.

Partly because we aren't quite ready to purchase and our local dealer only has 1 allocation left, and partly because there isn't any harm in waiting for the 2012 but there will be some benefits like an option for a bench seat, maybe some refinements to any issues that arose from 2011 being the first model year for the Countryman, and who knows what else.

Here's to waiting... ordering, then waiting again.. Hopefully I'll be done waiting in November.

I've just ordered an automatic all 4. The dealer said that they are all sold out of automatics and I have to wait til July to get my desired configuration. I do hope that some of the issues that we're seeing will be resolved in the 2012 model.

Thankfully we can live vicariously through the rest of NAM!

Hi. Just about ready to order a Countryman...but since it seems people are starting to bump into 2012 allocations I was wondering....does anyone think that there will be a JCW version of the Countryman for 2012? The extra HP would be nice.

With no automatic slots left and the allure of the bench, we're hoping to order in July for a Sept/Oct delivery on a 2012. Secured my order slot with the dealer. I'm sort of sad to leave my R56 behind, but the Countryman is a better fit for our family these days...

Went and test drove a CMS finally today, going to be ordering one come end of July early August, hoping they have more word on the JCW version and cost wise because if it is not to crazy I may hold off a little longer to go that route, but definatly going to be ordering a 2012.
