I have 80gb of music on my iPod. It'll be a while before I can copy my iTunes library to an affordable USB thumb drive.
That's a lot. I have 59 gb, so the 64gb thumb drive worked great for me. Took a night to get everything on there and a bit for the car to initially read the library, but once it did I was really surprised how quickly the music is played and navigated through.
Im sure it's posted here somewhere, but what is the strap under the driver seat for. I'm not talking about the tow hook there is another emply strap under my seat. Any ideas?

it's to hold the "mobility kit", a can of slime and an air pump
I do not think mini, who uses run flats, intended on there being a mobility kit there. But that's a great idea once I replace my run flats! Were you serious that is what that's for? It seems like I thought it was for a first aid kit or something.

Just found out the other day that the service mileage shows on the odometer when you crank the car for a second. I never noticed that cause it happens very quick. Good to know though
This one is a little silly that I never noticed, but I never noticed the intermittent wiper button. Was so angry thinking I only had 2 speeds. Every time a light rain came around slow was too fast and it was annoying to push the wipe bar every time the window got covered. Now I know where the int-button is and I'm happy

I'll admit that one took me a little while to work out myself! Of the quirks, that one's a little stranger than others - i.e. you can't as easily work out why it would be that way. Fortunately, like everything else once you do find it you quickly get used to it.

Nope. And good for you! Yeaaaaah you!!!
Accidentally hit it and the little icon on the tach display lit up. Awesome day when I found that.
I don't read manuals. I skim through them, check service info and if I need something specific I'll look it up. Not the type to sit and read through a manual. Esp for a car. Most of the time everything is pretty straight forward. This is the first time I basically overlooked something. Just never noticed the button because its blocked by the steering wheel. I think figuring it out on my own is a lot more fun and rewarding. Just like the radio, on board computer settings, etc.

I guess this thread is useless and should be closed. Probably most of this stuff is in the owners manual. I hope that was meant as a joke as it did not come across that way. I think most of us have better things to do than memorize the OM.
And the rest of us are geeks who read the OM to keep us occupied while waiting for our cars to arrive.
I never said most of us didn't read the owners manual...said memorize it. Just seemed like the post was antagonistic and not constructive. Again, maybe it was a joke.
