All cloth seating option

I was wondering if anyone's heard if the Countryman will have an option for all-cloth seats?
My 06 MCS has cloth, but I really want to get a Countryman. I have a dog, and I'm worried about her nails on leather or leatherette.
Besides, I'm still holding out for cooled or air-conditioned seats with the leather.

On a non-S Countryman, there is the option of cloth seats (Carbon Black Cosmos Cloth). On the S, though, the 100% cloth seats are not available. The closest thing are the cloth/leather combo seats in Black/Pure Red or Black/Light Tobacco. Husband's CM-S has the Black/Light Tobacco seats and there's very little leather. They might work out okay with your dog.

I've heard of heated seats but what are cooled or a/c seats with leather?

I have the heated and cooled seats on my E coupe. The leather in the seats has small holes that fans blow air through. I don’t think it is actually cold air from the AC unit. I’ve turned them on a few times and all I notice is it keeps you from sweating and sticking to the seats. The heated part I really like but the cooled part I could live without.

you can get cooled seats (not on the mini) that have nothing to do with air. There is a pad that actually uses electricity to get *cold*.

Have you considered getting seat covers for whichever seats your dog sits on?

Yeah, I'm guessing I'll just have to get seat covers.
Here's another question...Has anyone heard of any new/other colors for 2012? I'm really disappointed in the Red (really orange).
