New connected software!

Been playing with the new software from mini... The dynamic music is hilarious. I love when you turn really hard all the music goes to one side.. Also mission control is kinda interesting, fun for now but I'm sure it will get to be a bit much..

P.s. I still have had a hard time to get the send to mini function to work.. am I missing something? Is there something that I need to sign up for?

Cheers!

Yeah, I agree with you on Mission Control. Dynamic Music is great! I wish the tracks had a bit more length. I noticed a couple start to cut and start over after a while. It would be great if they could get Dynamic Music channels written by specific artists.

Have you signed up on Google Maps for the Send to Car function? You have to click "Send" and then select Mini from the make menu and then insert your Mini Connected user name. Mine has been working fine.

There's no link. Here are some steps to get started:
1. Go to maps.google.com
2. Search for an address
3. Click the marker on the map for the address you just found
4. In the context menu, click "more"
5. In the dropdown menu, click "Send"
6. In the new pop-up menu, click "Car"
7. Now you can select "Make" and input your Mini Connected username
8. Click "Use as default"

You have to do the above each time. You can only send addresses, business names, etc. and not routes. After sending to Mini, when you select the Send to Mini option in Mini Connected, it will pull up all addresses, etc. that you've sent. You can then select to navigate to the point.

That should do it.
