My Countryman comes with Sirius. I have been trying to find the ESN or ID for the factory installed radio. Any suggestions?

 

For me, the ID number appeared when I tried to access other channels on the service. The radio came with one locked channel (news/baseball stuff) and when I wanted to switch channel I got a blank phone number and then with the right dial turned it scrolled to show the ID.

Now the next part, you can register the radio online as there is no phone number. The ID will let the web application know its a trial but it looks like your ordering the full services... so not that clear.

At the end it will say one year for a price, then a credit for the full amount meaning they charge you zero. Hope that helps!

 

Do you have Connect/Nav or not? I do, MA did it for me when I was taking delivery though.

 

My MA did not know, I had to figure it out on my own. ( have connect and nav) I wish there was a longer replay time.

 

I have Connected and when I went to the Sat radio option on Connected to see if they had already activated it (they had not), but there was a link to activate service and with my phone already paired through BT, called the activation number for me and displayed the radio ID for me once the call was initiated.
