The public response to our PR beauty has been an overwhelming hit!! We have people stop and check our car and often after having it parked we will find a small crowd around her when we return, all loving the PR color. Almost everyone we meet comments on how much they love the color. For all those considering a new CM Don't let this forum color your decision on your color choice (sorry I couldn't resist).

I saw a PR on the dealer lot not long ago and loved it, too. Great color. Congratulations!

 

Where is the PR bashing, I think most like the color, I certainly do.

Biggest problem I see is its not CR, which is one of if not the greatest Mini colors ever, so any other red would be second.

 

I was originally on the PR WTF band wagon, but it's won me over. Big problem is people who say but it's not __________ (fill in the blank). Of gosh darn course it isn't. It's Pure Red and it does not owe anything to any other color or anyone else. If you want safe and mundane, go with white. If you want to be the screamer in the parking lot . . . well, you got one choice.

Saw a PR yesterday and while it's not CR it is still nice. Had a black roof and black wheels. Looked really sharp

 

Yeah, and Light White isn't Pepper White or Silver White.

Picked up my PR on Friday. Black top, back wheels, and black strips on the front side and back.
I debated back and forth on the color. My wife said to "go for it" and get the PR. I know we made the right decision!
What a fun car!

 

Pure Orange in two weeks and I'm worried. Will I really, really think it's a fun car if I'm spending all my time thinking "But it's not CR!"?

Sounds exactly like my Lisbeth, except that I do not have stripes in the back. At first I was wishful that it would have been more like a Chili Pepper red, but I really like the Pure Red look now.
