Rear center armrest was an option when we ordered our CM - we decided to pass on it.

Don't really care about squeezing in a fifth passenger. I just don't want to have to retrieve things (coins, crumbs, pens, etc) that will inevitably fall into the crack on both sides of the rail. Bench seat for me and I'll wait.

Rear center armrest (497)

Are you sure the Rear center armrest (497) is available now? About three weeks ago, MA tried to build a car for me with that option, but it came up with a Error. He tried for March and April production.

Has anybody successfully built a car (at a dealer, the website configurator does not has this option) with that Option Code 497?

Does this forum have an option to "ignore all posts by" I think I may use that option if it does.

As far as the seat...it is not worth the wait for me but it definitely could be handy for the dog; but with such a nice size boot I do not have to worry about it with my size dog since she will fit fine in the boot area.

I do like the cool look of the buckets too so I may have skipped the bench even if it was available.

Y'all, I just deleted 16 off-topic posts out of this thread after several members complained about bickering and general snarkiness.

Let's keep the dog-safety posts in the dog-safety thread, and the "why do people act how they do on internet forums" posts in...some internet sociology forum far, far away from here.

Let's also be nice to one another, and keep on topic.

Adios!

Thank you!!!

What month does MINI start taking orders for the next model year?
I'm wondering if we might have to wait till then for the bench update.

Usually July/august orders. Most European plants close for the month of August, and start the new MY when they return in September.

I have three dogs and two kids, bench seat would have been ideal but bucket seats look way cooler. Plus I need the car now and not next year!!

can't wait to see my baby, waiting for it to make it to CT now!
