R60 Anti-Theft protection isn't a standard feature?

Is the light on top the anti-theft display?

Is the orange strip across the top the anti-theft status indicator?
Yes if you armed the alarm, the strip will flash every few seconds, had it on mine

When I first posted the question, I thought if the strip was the alarm indicator, that would mean that I had an alarm.

As it is, it turns out that on my car the strip is as useful as an appendix.
