R60 Countryman Build Lead time?

Countryman Build Lead time?

Thinking about ordering a Countryman this coming monday, built to order Was wondering what the typical time it takes from order to delivery for a countryman so far?

It can vary a lot. I think a big factor is what slots your dealer has open. My dealer was able to modify an existing slot they had for us. We ordered on 1/5 and our CM was done at the factory on 1/24. Also, if you are out west where the ship has to go through the panama canal it will take longer than someone taking delivery on the eastern part of the country. We are hoping to have the keys in our hands by the end of this month.

Im in New York. I guess it sounds like it takes only a few weeks to build the car and another month to get it over here?

I would say a very rough estimate would be 6-8 weeks....emphasis being rough estimate. Being in New York you would probably shave a few days off delivery. Call the dealer and ask them how long it would take. You should get a production number either before you leave the dealership or a day or two after. They should be able to give you an idea of when it will go into production.
