I think I found the one I want to buy and it's built awaiting shipping. So the question (which I couldn't find an answer to) is this... If it's built, at what intervals do they ship out and how long should it take to get to the dealer in the Chicago area? I'm trying to figure out my timing to take care of my old car and how to plan this whole shebang. The dealer can give me stories as they typically do so I hope the community here has some better info.

I ordered on 11/23 withe build date of 12/5 completed by 12/13. At port in Bremerhaven 12/14. Still waiting for boat to the U S of A. I'm expecting delivery near end of this month best case scenario. I'd expect 8 weeks plus from date of completion.

Though not a neatly summarized answer to your question, you'll find that the experiences have varied from buyer to buyer. Also has links to various tracking sources and other notes of interest.

 

None of us can truly answer that due to the delays they had with due to improperly filled out weight stickers. Not sure about the initial shipments back a month ago that actually shipped out with the improper stickers.
You will be the guinea pig now since the sticker issue has been resolved.
