I wish they'd offer that color on the Countryman.

That leaves no logical room in the line-up for the Clubman.

MotoringFile reports that the Paceman has been approved for production. Anyone seriously interested?

Is it basically a stretched Cooper, with rear buckets?

I like the idea of the awd option with the jcw engine. If it is not too expensive I will get one. My one complaint with my MCS is getting around in poor weather conditions. This would help fix that problem

Why don't they just put All4 on a Clubman? I would totally buy that.

It will be interesting to hear who their target audience is for this as I just don't get it right now. Seems like it would take the place of the MCS or something?

This one reminds me of the Volvo C30. Very sporty and fast.

Agreed, the looks are nothing like the traditional MINI. Interesting that now the MINI will soon need to be referred to as the traditional MINI. No doubt that the Mini classicists would be shocked to see me refer to the "new" MINI in that way.

I don't hold it against MINI for making these new versions. I guess they feel they have to and need to.

USNews says it's been approved for production, too; if they're right, it'll be here in 2013.

I am absolutely interested. I was just saying to my wife today as we were test-driving a Countryman All4 -- gee, if only they could put this drive train in a Cooper. I love the looks and the whole concept, two-doors and all. 211 hp in a car just slightly larger than the Cooper and with AWD, that thing has me written all over it. I would so place my order now if I could.

As soon as it's (maybe a different name than Paceman by the time it hits production?) available, I'll be on the list to purchase one..
