That Royal Grey paint job w/ Blk-roof and Blk-wheels combo is smokin'. That's what I plan on ordering but with Xenon headlights and anthracite interior head liner. I heart that car...

I am absolutley in love with my Countryman!
Handles like a MINI should, great acceleration. Much smoother then my '04 MCS. Braking power is almost the same.
I'm surprised at how much the same but how different the two vechicles are. Lots more room but doesn't feel like it when driving.
We have been having our own blast of winter weather - rain and even got a few snowflakes yesterday. In Phoenix!!
Mr. Bickles is a beautiful machine!

Well due to the weather we cut our trip short and drove early from South Carolina to New Jersey. The ALL4 handled pretty well especially that snowstorm through Virginia. We have put in 2200 miles already but have to say the long 12 hour ride was pretty smooth and having all that space helped also.

Got mine this weekend. It's even better than I expected. Quality and comfort are high. Love the ride height. Agree that it feels like a BMW. It gets a lot of attention. I went through a drive-thru on the way home and heard the girl in the window say as I drove off, "I want that car so bad!". When I looked back, three people were hanging out the window trying to see my car.

Midnight Blue, I've added the specs to my signature! The Royal Grey is so beautiful and warm. I got some cool rims, too, that really pop. Can't remember what they're called, but they were the mid-range ones, dark, with a loopy design in silver.

Woot! Not sure I'm elated or flabbergasted.
MA called with the news our Countryman was just unloaded from the truck.
Only problem, it was the only Countryman, so they are wondering where their launch CMs are lost.
They have a big event planned for Saturday..... Mini of Loveland.
We discussed, pdi, possible delivery on Wed. and some accessories.
We also discussed NO DEMOs in our CM.
Wonder if I should brave the 30 degree weather and take a 50 min. drive. Hummmmm.

Great news! I've been waiting for that same call for a week now. The car didn't show up again today. Where I am now there's a small chance it comes in today and I can pick it up on the way to the airport tomorrow.
If not, it'll be at the dealer for a week waiting for me to come home. At least I'll have the time to get it tinted and stuff I guess...
They did get their demo car today though, so at least I'll be able to drive one before I leave.

Yes, it has been longer than I expected. But OK!
Waiting on some pictures to be sent, CM is not into PDI yet, but it has been cleaned up by MOLs MINI detailer.
Hopefully I will have a picture to post later in the picture thread.

Sounds good to me! If it doesn't show up by first thing tomorrow, I'm out of town at CES until the 10th.
Actually, reminds me, the same thing happened with my 03' It came available just as I was heading out of town (I think I was at Macworld that time) and had to let it sit at the dealer for a week until I got back in town.
Hopefully this isn't a pattern!
The real question is if it does come in tomorrow morning, should I get it just so I can drive it to the airport or leave it with the dealer for tinting and stripes?

I guess it all about timing, I think the PDI guy was busy today, I'm glad they are taking some time with the first CM at MOL.
Here is a quick picture taken by one of the nice folks at the dealership. I will go up in the AM before noon to take a look. Already noted one thing in the pictures the factory got wrong.
