R60 Who's Countryman is released to carrier and waiting for transport?
Yes, I'll be curious to see how long it sits at the VDC. Ours will hopefully be on the Manon and getting in on the 21st.
The automated system at 866-ASK-MINI provides the following status choices after production has been completed:
1. Released to a carrier and is awaiting transportation to the port of exit
2. Being transported to the port of exit
3. At the port awaiting a shipping vessel
I have a list of ALL4s production numbers from my dealer and checked several of them. The list above are the various responses I received from the automated system. Naturally, my order is still released to carrier while later orders that were completed AFTER mine are further along. Go figure.
Perhaps this is like the proverbial "watch pot" - the more attention I pay to the process, the longer it takes?

Fingers crossed for the Manon.
Sorry to report that the Manon does not go to CA port. The next WW vessel scheduled for CA port is the Morning Carina which departs on 12/18 and arrives in CA on 1/16.
Glad to hear that! Maybe you will make Manon. I'm still at 1 so it's looking bleak.
Hope you make the Manon! My MINI is loaded on the Fidelio. Its in Southampton Port now, loading cars. Looks like getting into NYC on 17th. Just looked up my VIN and its all loaded up.
Here's a webcam shot of the Manon. I hope were getting loaded.

I'm still 182 as of this morning so it is doubtful that my car makes it on board.
This getting old indeed! My car finished production on 11/30 and as far as I know it hasn't even left Graz yet. At least yours is at the port (I take it your status is confirmed as 193 by your MA?ASK-MINI reps have told me various things including my car is at the port, my car is at the factory, my car will be at the dealer in 5-6 days, and more. They claim the last update they get is once released to carrier. What does the automated system tell you?)
For those being loaded on the Manon
If your car is loaded on the Manon, you can track it from this page:

The guy I talked to at Ask-Mini didn't even know that the Countryman's are produced in Austria(then again neither did the GM at my Dealer). He tried to tell be there was no reason for him to think it was in Germany, because why would they ship mine from England to Germany to then come here. He figured it out after I questioned him. Now I just have to wait for the manifest to be uploaded to WW's tracking to see if I made the Manon.

What date was your car production complete?
The countryman reached the VDC on 12/2 and released to dealer 12/7 and was delivered same day. Went last night to take a peek.
I am getting stripes installed tomorrow and I will be picking up the car on Friday.

Very exciting!
I have NO faith in the ASK-MINI or owners lounge anymore. I just got off the phone with my dealer and she is telling me that without a doubt, my Countryman is going to be unloaded in Georgia on the Dec 13th and that I will see it before Christmas. According to ALL of the other info I can get......my Countryman is still in Germany. Great news, but really?!?!
A little more research. It is on the Patriot, an ARC ship, which is run under WW's direction, but doesn't have there tracking features. So.....if in fact the info from my dealer is correct, which I am 98% sure it is, mine and a bunch of others are due to start hitting VDC'c on the east coast starting in Baltimore today. Yahoo!!!!
I feel your pain. My car is still 182 as well. My dealer is calling various folks at MINI USA to try and get to the bottoom of this. Let's hope we both can make it on the Oberon on the 15th.

I guess my wife won't be seeing it until Jan.
