Julzie, congrats!!! We are expecting our Absolute Black one to loaded on the ship Thursday. Did everything go smoothly with the TDTD $750? Where exactly was the picture of the CM by itself taken? Looks very familiar...

Eh..not so much with the TDTD...He (the sales manager) was on the phone with his mini usa rep for me and another guy and his rep wouldn't let us use the certificates on the cars for being previously ordered. He said he was battling his rep to get it for a friend in the same situation. I'm getting over the flu and didn't have the fight left in me to make a big stink. And seeing my car in person had me such a good mood. Eh I still got 2k off msrp though...can't complain too much I guess.

I'm disappointed in you, but congrats again. We also got $2000 off MSRP, and I've heard of no one else here that did better than that. But I'm determined to get the $750, too. Hope you feel better soon.

PS. love the name for your CMS! I've been toying with Hitchcock, Burton, Poe, and Sherlock (Just traded in Watson). Will need to get a feel for the car I think.

You could do the evil mastermind Moriarty--or Inspector Lestrade!

Haven't posted in a little while. This pic is from the UP looking back towards Mackinaw City. We put about 1000 miles on it last weekend, bringing it to 13,500 well loved miles in the past 8 months. Don't mind all the bugs, they were killer up north.

We were thinking that the car will be rather "formal" looking as it's all black with chrome and the 18" silver wheels...hence we were thinking of "Smithers the English Butler" Seems like few people realize the CM's are assembled in Austria

Smithers is Mr.Burns' assistant on The Simpsons too! Three other "butler" names: Digby, or Jeeves or Basil.

Hmmm...I may be re-thinking this. I do like Digby, but that's the name of my friend's English Springer Spaniel. Jeeves sounds interesting too. Someone else pointed out that the blacked out headlights may not be in keeping with the formal theme. And then we are also going to buy the NM Engineering 19" wheels that Flyer has on his car...just fell in love with them the minute we saw his photos....but they are not formal looking at all Any other ideas?

Still on the formal them--Tux or Sir Duke
But since you are becoming more daring and rakish---Jack (Sparrow among others), Athos/Porthos/Aramis--three musketeers, (Mad) Max, Conan or Heathcliff.
OK, I'm done
You may not pick one of these but it will probably jog something loose in your brain. I got started and couldn't stop

Of course not--especially when you tell them the whole name. They already think you are crazy for naming your car anyway!
