That's not exactly what this thread was made for. Please post question in correct thread and maybe you will get an answer there. If you don't get an answer right away, don't take offense, maybe not many have done what you are seeking to do and don't have an answer for you.

My first R60 photo!

(...about 2 weeks and ~1470 miles overdue...)

Finally posting a photo of my 2015 CMSA4, white on cosmic blue.

I'll post more in the Cosmic Blue Owners thread once I've finished the first round of mods - really just custom stripes, plus wrapping the steering wheel with a Redline Goods napa leather cover/padding. JB+ is in the garage and going on sometime soon. Will be ordering the NM rsb, too. Roof box was a deal too good to pass up, but won't normally be mounted.

Quick note for anyone ordering a 2015 All4 with Sport package: you will NOT get the new-for-2015 pseudo-skid plates on the front/rear/skirt panels if you order the Sport pkg. MINI doesn't do a good job of passing this information along and it doesn't show up in the MINI USA website Configurator.

Loving the 19" wheels and PZero runflats. It's a far better ride than my R57S on 17" Conti runflats had been, and the comfort level is very similar to the BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2s (non runflat) which ran on the 'vert (with H&R/Koni yellows, full disclosure for comparison of tire/suspension).

^^ Looks great, like the combo.

Still don't get the JCW belly pan either I believe.

I'm referring to the silver colored additions under the front/rear/sides of the trim panels. See this picture:

I haven't seen them in person, but I presume they are just silver plastic and not an actual aluminum (or even steel? highly doubtful) attempt to look like front/rear skid plates or sill guards/rock sliders as you would find on an actual off-road prepped 4x4. Quite a few small crossover SUV/SAVs are going for this look lately to try and appear more aggressive and sporty.

Did you order the Sport Suspension with your All4?

New MINI Halo LEDs from ECS Tuning. Pricey mod (after installation), but a good value, I think.

After a seemingly eternal wait, I finally took delivery of my CMS ALL4.

Can they be an easy direct swap if you have the factory led fogs like in the 15s?

2015 should have the factory LED halo and led fog. Which is about the same, they are not as bright as the retrofit kit, but pretty bright. I dont know if you can go from factory LED => LED retrofit kit. Think there was another person on here trying to do that but did not get back to us.

Worth a shot I guess. I would check how the new ones factory ones are wired, then compare to the install PDF linked on the product on our site.

Thanks

Considering the MINI box (too many snowboarder friends), how do you like it? I'll have to post my 2015 Cos Blue CMS soon! I have those side sills and no sport suspension (thinking coilovers). But first to the Rear Sway and the Sprint Booster.

According to one of the MINI technicians I spoke to, they said they are wired the same way and it would be just a direct swap of the lamp assemblies. I am planning on confirming this once my new CMS All4 comes in. I already have the kit since it was on my current CMS. I will let you know once I take delivery which should be at the end of the month.

Let me know if you want to part ways with either the stock 2015 LEDs or the retrofit kit

Thanks, knew one of the guys looked into it. Yea the wiring looks the same, but you never know. I would give it a shot. I know the retrofit kit is brighter , little more purple blueish led compared to the new factory halo 2015+, seen them both side by side.

Mine is suppose to get off the boat any day now. Exciting isn't it? I currently have an estimated delivery date of March 30th.

Very much so! This is my third mini and my second one where I can track it. Probably worse for me because I'm totally all about instant gratification.

I am near the port that it arrives at so I think it makes it worse.

Do the factory halo and retrofit led halo lamp look the same? Do they have different part numbers as well? I wonder why they aren't the same brightness /color.

Anybody has photos of them to compare? Thanks

See above: The one is a kit different part number all together. One is already installed from the factory. Seen them both in person and the retrofit kit is brighter and a little more blue / purple on the leds. When they went to the factory ones they made them more subtle is my guess. They both have main halo / half circle / led fog function based off what I have seen.

Retrofit kit LED DRL / Fog ( halo ) , in halo DRL function. 63122338554

2015 Factory DRL LED /Fog ( Halo ) , in halo DRL function.

The box has been handy. Does increase noise at highway speeds. More of a general increase in volume than any specific whooshing or whistling sound. Super easy and quick to take on and off, though.
