Hi guys,

I just ordered a Chili Red MCS Cabrio around the 8th of June, and its now on its way over the pond, so I thought I'd introduce myself.

I live in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, and as far as I can tell there are a total of 3 other minis in the area (but no convertibles).

Lets see, here's my build:

Mini Cooper S Convertible
Chili Red/White mirrors and rims
White bonnet stripes (are they dealer installed? Considering some nice vipers instead)
16" 7-fins rims

Cold Weather Package
Xenon Headlights
MFSW
Chrono pack

The budget was pretty tight, so I had to skimp on a lot of extras I wanted, but such is life. So, thats about it, Hi!

Congratualtions on your Mini purchase. I too am a new Mini owner. My '06 DS/PS MCS was delivered on March 10 of this year, and it was a great day in my life. Honestly, it is the first car I can say that has really shaped a new life for me. There have been Porsches and old classic cars in my history, but none have close to the emotional impact of the Mini.

You will notice around this web-forum a number of Owner's Clubs. The Dark Silver Owner's club, the Dog Owner's Club, The Chili Red Owner's club, etc etc....the list goes on...Now we need a JASON Owner's Club :). Just gotta figure out the prefect mascot. Hmmmm....

While I am working on that mascot idea, you have a fun time turning into a Mini owner. And don't worry, it's not really an addiction if it your way of life ;).

They say the first step is admitting you have a problem. I'm just confused what to do next :lol: :confused: :lol:

...like perhaps dumping the white wheels? these cars throw off lots of brake dust and the white wheels can be VERY difficult to keep clean.

Being a MINI addict is not a problem! Welcome, lots of great curves to drive on in the Shenandoah Valley! My husband went to school in Charlottesville, and we can't take the mini back down to the mountains!

Hi Jason! I'm not a MINI addict. I can quit any time I want to, I just use it recreationally. Nope, no addiction here.
