New Member-2nd MCS in the family
Hi, Y'all! NC Trackrat here. First time to post. I'm retired and my 3rd love behind wife & our Siamese cat are cars. I've been an instructor for various club driving schools for over 25 yrs. My wife bought her fully-equipped '03 MCS new (currently w/BBS whls,Hankook K104's,Magnaflow,K&N Typhoon...all her idea! )and, after almost 3 years of fun/envy, I decided to find my own. A combo street/track car would be the best for me and started hunting for a ltd. slip w/no sr. Almost ordered one but, lo, & behold, an '05 appeared on eBay w/the right color and the right equipment...even the chrono pkg. To make a long story short, it's now mine and I'm in the process of readying it for track duty. So far, camber plates, 22 mm rear bar, Alta CAI, Enkei 5-spoke 15 lb. wheels w/the new Hankook RS2's in 215/45x17, H Sport springs & rear lower control arms. Align setting are currently 2.0 neg camber up front & 1.3 neg in the rear w/the slightest amt. of toe-out F&R. Oh,yeah. Couldn't resist the bling. Got a JCW front strut bar, too. Pulley, exhaust and big brakes next on the list. Can't wait to catch my buddies in the twisties!
