Just an update.....I called ASK MINI Monday & they told me that my new pride & joy was in the paint shop. It's still slated to be complete by Wed. 10-5. Sure hope it gets on a ship headed this way soon.

On a side note I had a call from another MA at the dealer. He said my original MA had resigned?? I'm feeling kind of low.....I sure hope he didn't lose his job over our Chrono pack fiasco. My new MA said no, but I wonder.:confused:

Congrats! Sorry to hear about your MA. MIB is still waiting to be produced though now it is week 44 instead of week 45! :thumbsup:

Is your wait because you're getting the factory works kit? If so I know it will be worth the wait. The first MINI that I drove had the works kit. What a nice car that was. For an old guy like me I think the S has enough power, but it's nice to know that the works kit is available if I ever decide I need it.:wink: In the long run it's better they work out their probuction problems before they start producing the factory installed works kits. Hang in there.:thumbsup:

Edit>> I should have read your signiture. Looks like you're waiting on a Cooper. Sounds like a nice spec too. You will love the mileage.

I still can't believe that my car went from ordered to being built so darn fast. Now I'm worried something will delay it. I told myself that I wouldn't mind waiting. Boy was I wrong.:lol:
