Got My Mini And It's Rollin'
 

HI GANG! I got my MINI and it's rollin'down the road at a high rate of speed. It came from the nice people at CLassic Mini-Brian and Mike K were extra helpful. It's finished in Astro Black with a white top, 15" wheels, automatic, and black and tan (sounds like a beer!) leather sport seat interior, and the premium package. A really pleasant (pleasant?? Heck, it's FUN!) car to drive, with a lot of extra features, and with the price of gas constantly going skyward, I'm smiling even more. I sell machinery (large stamping and forging presses, and industrial CNC machines, lathes, mills etc.) and this is going to be the "Work" car, so I'm looking for a lot of fun with my work. Dave Stewart introduced me to this site, and I have to thank him for that. I look forward to meeting other "Mini-philes" and picking up good info from this site; it sure seems highly organized. By the way, did anyone (everyone) see pictures of the proposed MINI with a longer wheelbase for more legroom? It was in our CLeveland Plain Dealer, so it probably was everywhere else. It looked a little strange, but I'd almost have to see it in person to evaluate it. Of course, if it made the rear seat more usable, that's a plus; just so it stays cute, and handle like it does. If you think driving around Cleveland is fun, ask someone about the Tail of the Dragon. Better yet, try it yourself. I'll let you check some of the posts to find out where the Dragon is located.

Hey Mike, did you work at McDonald's in Solon about 16-17 years ago? When I was in high school I worked with a Mike Predina there.


BTW, congrats on the new car. I bought mine from Brian at Classic also. I picked mine up on Wednesday. :thumbsup:

Dang that MINI sounds HOT!!! Astro Black, black & tan interior, premium package? Nice. Got pics? I admire you going w/ a CVT, too....very practical for city driving, but you can still have some fun w/ the other modes when you're in the mood. Good job!:thumbsup:
