New Gen 1 Owner From Michigan

Hello all

I am new to the Mini I got is as a primary driver for the daughter but will be also driving and soloing as time goes on. I ended up getting a 2004 Cooper S with only 66k on the clock. It needs some tlc and a deep cleaning to make it presentable.

This is more of a project car for my daughter and I to play with and learn as we go. My Son took the other project car with him when he went into the Navy.

Today we fix the sliders on the driver seat so with me luck.

I do not think we will have it ready to solo before winter since we are about to shut down the season.

Since stickers and decals add horsepower please feel free to comment where to shop.
1) looking for checkers flag for sunroof
2) Checkered flag for mirrors or do i get caps?

Thanks

Thanks for the info I see you have the rear wiper!!!! Local Stealership wanted to charge me $45 for the rear wiper alone......

The Seat repair was a bit of a bugger but I came out victorious working 100% now.

Detail complete in and out now to hammer out a few more small projects.

If it has no rust under the taillights and hatch trim, but yourself some 3M cavity wax and a wand kit and hit those areas. You'll have to remove the taillights and the rear hatch cover. The R53/R50 rusts from the inside out in these areas
