New to mini's

Good day fellow mini owners !! I recently bought a used 2006 cooper S . Did oil changes on all. The trany was a challenge on the floor in my garage, but got through it. Took out 5 lts of oil and pumped in 5 lts.( I did make sure about the right oil !! ) Warmed her up good and took it for a short stomp down the road. Did some slipping between shiftes which I didn't notice when road testing before purchase. I haven't checked the oil level yet but should I give it a chance to relearn or panic !! Its a 53 model with the asian steptronic auto trany Thanks for any input you guys can give !!
jimkyle in northwest ontario !!

Welcome to the forum. I can’t help with your question but I can welcome you. Post some pictures of your nee MINI.

The first generation is a great choice.

Welcome to the forum!

I’d check the transmission fluid level before going any further.

I don’t know what the capacity of the transmission is, but 5 liters seems a little light. It could have been low to begin with, some will stay in the torque converter but no idea how much.
