Hello from the Texas Panhandle

Hello from the panhandle of Texas! I just bought a 2010 Horizon Blue Cooper S and at least 4 hours from the closest BMW or mini dealer so I figured I better get involved with the forum quick! She doesn't have any modifications at this time, but that will change as i learn more through the threads like how to build the oil catch and walnut blast the valves. So far I have already learned a bunch! Old mechanic but new to MIni. Looking forward to some good knwledge and advice hopefully flowing both ways here!

Hi and welcome to NAM, claymaloy!
Nice looking MCS!
It looks like it is sitting high in the back! That is not going to help in cornering. I can not figure why someone would do that intentionally!
These cars were designed to handle the twisties and do it well!
Such fun little cars!
Congrats on your buy!

It should sit a little lower in the front, but not so high in the back! The back tires should not have cleared the fender!
So show us the new look, when you can!
Congrats on your woeful job of keeping all cars running in your family! It save bunches to DIY!
