Greetings from Southern California

After test driving every brand of car for the last three months, I decided on this 2019 Mini S. I needed a daily driver to get me to and from work; 20 miles round trip. I wanted something comfortable, with some punch. My weekend beast is a wide-body 1984, Porsche 911 Cabriolet, that is heavily modded; it's a true go-kart without airbags or cupholders. At the ready speed was a huge factor with my purchase. Besides this is a classy little car... it's built solid. Next week I'm taking it to the dealer for the JCW Tune Kit. I love that this car has so many aftermarket options. Inside is the JCW steering wheel and the Harman Kardon stereo upgrade. My only complaint is that stereo needs more punch. Has anyone added onto the Harman Kardon system? I feel it needs an Amp to push it just a bit. Just had the windows tinted, which is a must in the Cali sun. Any other tuning mods? I might blackout all the chrome. Just having fun with it.

Welcome to the forum. My bet is that within a few months, you will be taking the MINI on weekend fun drives that you would have otherwise taken the 911, especially after you get serious with the modifications.

Hi and welcome to NAM!
Congrats on your Mini purchase!
The drop to 911 is fun, but not practical for a daily. This little car can be thrown around and also keep you cool inside. Have fun with it!

Welcome, gotta love that Porsche as I love those older air cooled cars.
