Hello every one,
So i guess ill be the new kid at school for a second and tell you alittle about me. Names Ken, Im HORRIBLE with grammer so be warned lol. seriously i really am, im not joking. So alittle about me, Im 28, will be 29 on the 14th of feb. I live in Jacksonville FL (usa if you dont know the states). I own a, well your probably can guess what i own...... or why would i be on here? I have a R53 (03 spec) with some good goodies on it. I use to be a Mini tech at a dealership but resigned due to health problems (2nd round of brain cancer, but nothing i can do because its too small and cant do anything about it at this point. My first round was back in 2012 where i had about an 2inch in diameter pre-cancers tumor, had it successfully removed.) Anyways, about the mini. So shes an S with sport package on it. the goodies include items like 17% reduction pulley, coil overs, swaybars, lower control arms, more or less everything you can do except upper strut bars for suspension has been replaces with aftermarket. theres some other things aswell but know im forgetting them. plus this is gettting in to a book. So yea that was me in a nut shell. im a pretty relaxed person and always open to learn. now to go make a post thats probably been asked 10329842103948 times.

Ken,
Welcome to the forum. You seem to have a good outlook on life. Sure wish I could take a picture of my MINI with green grass and trees in the background in February. Mine is locked up for the winter and the grass and trees are currently covered in ice. The MINI looks great. I hope you become an active member of the forum. You should have a lot to add.

thanks guys!
its in good shape for the most part. needs a tune and intake, aswell as a head liner and seats. theres a couple spots where the clear is pealing (mainly the scoop, but one on the cal and one on the pass rear below window) but other than that its good. all the common r53 issues have been replaced or fixed with upgrades.
well Flordia helps lol but thanks. after everything thats happen really dont try to let anything slow me down. its always one foot in front of the other even if its a baby step.
