New guy. I Love my Mini but I'm not keeping it!

I am new to this forum so I will introduce myself.

My current Mini is 2015 S Convertible that I purchased new last year. It is a fun car however I do not plan to keep it much longer. Why? I will explain shortly.

This is my first Mini but I have liked the small sporty Mini concept for years, I just wasn't ready to let go of the power thrill from the big V8 engines of the cars I previously owned. However, my new Mini is a blast to drive and I am actually having more fun with my Mini then I ever did with the bigger cars (and it gets great mileage even when it is driven hard!). Therefore Like many of you I am now hooked, and there will probably never be another Corvette or Mustang in my future. So why would I say that I do not plan to keep it? As you may have already guessed, to make room for my new Mini! As I write this my newly ordered 2017 JCW convertible is on a ship and headed to California via the Panama canal. I expect to be driving it very soon.

For those who want to know what I ordered, these are the specs:

2017 JCW convertible (The new JCW convertibles are called 2017 models)
Pepper White Paint
Sport Auto Trans
JCW Sport cloth seats - black
Dynamic damper control
17" Black Track Spoke Wheels
Rear camera & parking assist
Cockpit Chrono Package (Mini's fancy name for gauges)

I wanted to keep the MSRP under $40K (and I did) so as you can see there are not a lot of expensive options but it will have everything I need.

Ok, I will, but at least for a while it will look like every other stock 2017 JCW Pepper white convertible with black wheels.

I do plan to change the wheels, and maybe even have them powder coated bronze, but I don't plan to do that right away.

Bronze will look great. One of my favorite wheel color choices on Pepper White.

As a convertible and JCW owner myself, congrats, nothing beats top down motoring. White on black going to look good.
