My wife and I have always turned our heads at mini's.

Well as of labor day we now own a 2011!

So far we both love it just as much as we knew we would.

Had to flip a coin as to who got to take it to work today! She won. My time will come.

Well thanks for the space!

CHEERS!

Nice! How long until you buy another so you won't have to share? And welcome to NAM!

As funny as that might sound,

after some spirited driving around yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if I ditch my car for a second Mini!

I will give it a couple months.

Oh no! It looks like there is a future 3rd driver in the family. That means less drive time for you.

Mr. T is right about the color of your MINI... It looks great (but then again I'm a bit biased when it comes to CR...)

May the road ahead hold many miles and smiles for you, the wife and your MINI!

Welcome to the MINI madness! And let the modding begin(exterior,interior,ect.).

xbeckk 09-05-2013 09:52 AM

Seriously, I have spent every spare second of the week online looking at something Mini.

I don't even know where to start.

After I start, I have no idea when to stop.

My problem is, it is really for my wife.

If you want light mods for suspension, a bigger rear sway bar! I have some twisties around here in MI, and I got it up to almost 70mph without any body roll. But if you don't want heat soak in the summer, a bigger intercooler is a good step. Forget about "CAI", the stock system is the best. Exhaust wise, I'd take off the 2nd cat and resonator, if your looking for a bit more sportier sound. Also lowering the car on some springs and Koni's isn't a bad way to go. These are the modest modifications you can do to your MINI without compromising the daily reliability.

But definitely blackout look would be a nice addition to your R56, I love chili red and black together! Keep us updated when you eventually start going crazy with the MINI;-).
