I just bought my first MINI...I'd love your advice!

I just bought a '07 Mini Cooper S and I am looking for some advice since I am new to this whole thing. I'd like to make a few modifications to him (Niegel is what I named him)...

1. Hood stripes- I am thinking of one on each side in a white double pinstripe. Any thoughts of where is the best place to buy quality ones that aren't too expensive? outmotoring.com or Mighty Stripes?

2. Driving Lights- On a budget, where would the best place to buy the lights AND mounting kit for the front grill? From outmotoring.com I see you can buy lights for $85 but the mounting kit is $89 on top of that...I wouldn't mind buying nice used ones...

3. British License Plate- Since my car was imported to NY it used to have a front license plate...aka holes in my bumper. I'm from Michigan so the first thing I did was take the plate holder off to find these holes so I would like to cover them with a European license plate...best place to buy them and the plate holder?

I have found many places online that sell these things, but I wanted to ask the professionals before I buy a cheap/expensive one that isn't worth it. I'm in grad school right now, so I am on a bit of a budget but Christmas is coming up!
