So I traded in my 2011 Suzuki Burgman 400 ABS (after almost getting killed for the second time in this Third World California city) on a 2005 Cooper S convertible. I had been looking for a Mini or an older VW bug around the local car lots, private sales, and on the internet. Found this racing green little beast just sitting there on a sleazy car dealer's lot, calling my name as I parked the bike. I've wanted a Mini for a long time. Now...if I just get into the back yard through the gate, like I did with the scooter....

I am a freelance photographer, living in northern Santa Barbara County. Driving the back roads on the central coast should be fun, if I don't get killed by a farm worker or wine taster.

The top will be closed under two conditions: pouring rain, or the wife is in the car without a hat.

I too was almost killed on a Suzuki, so I traded for a Can Am Spyder. The roadster was on the top of my bucket list. Life is too short, enjoy your new ride.
