Yeah, kind of a bummer. I was hoping it would remain close enough to the coast for us to keep picking up a signal. Oh well, we know when it's due to arrive, and it's currently on schedule, so now it's just the waiting game again.

Rec'd word from my MA that Lil Maky will be at dealer on May 7th

I asked how this is possible because THEMIS LEADER (the ship its on) just gets to PH on May 7

He said "your not on the TL. Your on the TOMAR and we have a direct truck from LA to Tacoma! OK wowo.

We may take delivery on May 12 ! Woo Hoo

I was trying to track the Tomar earlier today, but looks like I gave up too soon.

My MA emailed me to tell me that Stella was on a boat they expected to dock on May 3rd, and he estimated she'd be at the dealership 5 days after that. So . . . May 8th.

Lil Maky, you must be going nuts, wondering which ship your MINI is actually on! I'd be inclined to trust WW - i mean, if their cargo tracking system is wrong about something like that, there's a problem! Hope for your sake it's the Tomar, though.

I can't believe we're this close - it's been a wild past few weeks, hasn't it? (Anyone know if there's webcams at PH? Guessing not, but maybe someone knows something I don't.)

 

It's all good! Now down to 10 days or 20 days. I had the extra delay with the seat issue so if its delayed a few more that is ok we are so close now.

My wife and I will take a few days off and have a nice trip planned for Lil Maky as soon as it's here

I've been bugging my MA, begging him to get pics of Stella when she arrives on the car-carrier and gets unloaded. =)

 

Ok got a confirm from my MA today. Lil Maky is on the TL due in Monday 5/7. We have scheduled a pickup date for May 18th!!

No word from my MA, but he's always a bit behind. I checked the WW tracking website and according to them, Stella is on US soil and has cleared customs.

I guess I won't know anything really now, until she's at the dealer.

The extra few days works in my favor. My wife and are able now to take vacation through Memorial Day and enjoy the Lil guy

Could have break-in miles done in no time at all.

Trying to figure out if I can get enough break-in done in time for a track day with some friends in June. Maybe if I take a few weekend road trips . . .

 

Just talked to my MA. Stella is still at the VDC and I am tentatively scheduled to pick her up on the 11th. Give or take a day, of course...

Anyone else have their adoption day scheduled?

 

Was told yesterday that my Roadster has cleared the VDC and has been released to the carrier. Estimated delivery date to the dealer of roughly the 9th. When I asked them how long it would take for the dealer stuff to take before I could get her (I'm on something of a tight schedule due to a 2000 mile move coming up), he said "about an hour". Hurrah! I was worried I'd have to wait another week to pick her up!

 

I've been going nuts this week with anticipation, trying to keep myself distracted. Yesterday I received an email from my MA that said Buffy should arrive at the dealership today or tomorrow! I've obsessively been checking my email all day, hoping that my baby made it to San Jose today.

Wry, we've got to be on the same truck right? We could be behind the wheel as early as Wednesday!

I think my MA said they had a truck come in today, but surely you'd have heard if Buffy was on that one.

 

Looks like there were 426 MINIs on the TOMAR and over 900 BWMs another 826 on the TL

I could see where it might take a few days to process them all.

Been watchin' the THEMIS LEADER on friday night as its coming up the coast of Baja it turns around and drifts at .9 knots south was thinking OMG now what???
After 10hrs it resumed course north . Is now passing LA for arrival @ 0400 Monday

MA says 2 days VDC 3 Days Travel 1 day prep & 2 days added goodies from dealer then pickup on May 18th

 

How did you find out how many MINIs and BMWs were on the ship?

And wow, nearly twice as many Bimmers!
