Where's the cruise control ?

I just bought my 05 MINI convertible yesterday. After I took delivery, I realized there is NO cruise control. I wondered why I couldn't find the controls. LOL. Not much I can do now, is there ?

You got the best model year! I've never used my cruise in over 7 years and 127K miles. To me it feels like you are disconnected, like you're just hanging on. For whatever that is worth.

Thank you for the quick response. Would you believe that the last car I purchased from the same Used Car Dealer also had no cruise control. I thought almost every car had them at that time. What do I know ? LOL

I actually have a wiring and switch kit to retrofit it. But it does take a little work to install so be ready.

Thank you for the information, but I don't want to make any changes to the car. I will just have to suffer. LOL. Even my 2011 Canam Spyder has cruise control.

The cleanest fix is to swap the steering wheel to get one with the needed pushbutton controls.

You still have to add the wiring to make them work
