Good Morning All!! I am patiently waiting ...(okay not so patiently) for my new baby to hit US soil on the 29th of December. Once she has completed her cruise, my Mini Cooper S will travel to Salt Lake City, UT where I will then travel to pick her up!!!! I have been reading posts since I found this site shorly after placing my order in Nov. The information here has been priceless... THANK YOU!!

My CR MCS is Cruising on the Othello too. Hope yours got a balcony suite like mine did.

Just tracked the Otello and it's off the Baja coast. I'm sure our Mini's are out on the deck having a cocktail and getting a little sun.

 

I just checked, and they should be sailing by Ensenada soon!!! I just hope mine didn't eat all that awesome cruise butter and gain too much weight.... I might have to run her long and hard to get her back into shape...hehehe

Final destination is Long Beach, only about 2 hrs south of port Hueneme. The ship should sail right past my house before long!

 

By the way, arrival is 1am GMT on the 29th, which is 5pm PST on the 28th. Getting close!

My CM was on the Otello, which I picked up yesterday!

I was never able to find my CM after it left the factory. It just disappeared. The WWL tracking site was less than worthless.

 

That sounds really quick for you guys that got your cars already...two or three days from VDC to your house...good for you! Long Beach BMW is less than helpful so who knows when the first truckload of cars coming south of Port Hueneme will stop by my dealership!

Blondee, we are on the same 2 boats. The other one we have is on the Triton Leader and its delayed a day.

SMR1963, it depends on the sequence of loading the cars just like luggage (LIFO).
Hope you get yours soon, I got mine in the OC. Yes!! Hope you get yours with the 0%, it's free money if you finance.

The VDC was working overtime to get all the cars on the Otello processed by the end of the year, according to my dealer. My Mini was delivered to the dealer from the VDC on Friday, only 1 day after arriving in port. South Bay Mini had 3 truck loads of Mini's arrive that day. On Saturday I saw one more truck filled with Mini's arriving.

 

My last day off is today so I might need to do a drive by this morning... Thanks for the info!

 

Thanks for the info stevepsd, maybe there is hope I will have my MCS by Saturday..... How long do you think I should wait before I start "Stalking" my dealership..hahaha

 

Still waiting!! I'll bet mine was the car at the VDC that got its roof crushed by the transport truck...(ref: the "inside the port hueneme distribution center" sticky).
