Anyone Else Waiting for Asian King? (27 Sep to Port Hueneme)

My new 2012 Chili Red MCS, Nigel, is now waiting for transportation to Port Hueneme, CA. I'm guessing that will put him on the WW Asian King on Sep 27th. If so, he might get here in Arizona before the end of October. A little faster than I was originally expecting

Any other ship mates for Nigel? Dave

Hoping to be on that boat

Hopefully Jack S, my 2012 EG/B Coupe S, will be on that ship. It completed production on 9/16 and is current "waiting to be released to carrier". Hopefully it will get to the port at Southampton in time to catch that boat. Looking for a delivery date at the end of October, 1st of November.

We are big fans of Jack S so it would be great to be on the same ship. Nigel is "at the port" but Asian King doesn't sail for another 5 days so plenty time for Jack S to get there too.

Here is a picture of Jack S

Here is a picture of Jack S. from the Mini Configurator. So looking forward to this car. I sold my 05 PW/B Justa about a month ago and have been going through withdrawal.

Very "Stealth": Black roof, black wheels, black stripes, black headlights, black... Is there a theme here??? Jack S looks very cool!!

Nigel will be our very first MINI. Driven plenty of "old" Minis in England but never owned one. Have alway valued agility and handling over pretty much everything else.

Nigel and Jack S. are just 2 out of 459 booked so far! Wow!! That's a lot of new MINIs headed for new homes.

Loaded on the Asian King and she has set sail for the Panama Canal. There are six new 2012 Coupes on the boat (that are on NAM that I know of) all heading for the West Coast. Very excited to see the first batch of customer configured Coupes hitting the street.

Tim, Is it possible that Jack S. and Nigel are the only 2 NAM MINIs out of the 511 on the Asian King? Amazing if true!!!

BTW: It was fun for me to see Nigel cruising by the English south coast. I've visited many locations there so nice to know that Nigel has been near there too! Dave

I know there are about 5 other 2012 Coupes on the Asian King bound for West Coast NAM folks. We have been discussing ships on the thread for Mini Coupe Roll Call. But I am surprised that none of the other NAM people waiting for their MINIs have chimed in.
