THEMIS LEADER eta for Port Hueneme 9/29/11

Hey everyone
I thought I would start a thread for those of us on the Themis Leader NYKline ship. I will put in all I know so far for our ship of minis. My little one is on the big ship with 249 of her brothers and sisters.

Here is the info on her port arrivals:
http://www.portarrivals.com/vsl.asp?item=371965000
Shows the ship picked up our minis on 9/5/11 and is due in Panama MillaFlores locks on 9/20/11. Does anyone know how to translate the time??? What does the date 9/20/11 0:100 UTC translate into for west coast times?

This link is the AIS data that has no updates since 9/11/11, but it has soem great pictures of the ship at the Bristol port, the one just before our minis boarded in Southampton UK.
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...mmsi=371965000

This site shows a time of arrival for Panama as 9/19/11 at 900000?? I'm confused on the Panama arrival time now :(

Part TWO

Silly system would not let me post all the info in one post.

Here is the Port Hueneme port schedule, showing arrival on 9/29/11 of the Themis Leader

Panama Canal Locks Webcams:
Gatun and Milleflores Locks

So anyone got a guess on when it will actually arrive in Panama?

OK I think I have it worked out on times, it looks like PST, the ship will reach the Gatun Locks, the first set of Panama Canal Locks, about 11pm. Watching other ships it appears to take 8 to 10 hours travel from Gatun to Millaflores Locks. Meaning sometime between 6am and 9am 9/20 PST the Themis Leader will be going through the MillaFlores Locks, which has the better webcamera. I or my husband will be watching to capture the pictures of it going into the Locks.

Yippee!!!! It is back on the map again, no the Bermuda Triangle did not eat our Minis!!!!

Themis Leader will be at MiraFlores in hour or so

My husband got pictures early this morning of the ship coming in through the Gatun Locks. I am going to snap pictures of it at the Mira Flores Locks. Then it is into the Pacific and on the way to Port Hueneme. Closer and closer!!

second set of MiraFlores pics

And here the ship is leaving the Locks today, it will go out of AIS tracking range soon and probably not show up again until closer to the US port.

@darkwillow: Sounds like delivery is getting close for you!!

My coupe just started the production process. I am wondering how you found the NYKLine shipping schedules? I have been challenged in finding this information. Thank you in advance.

Hi JBS, I went to the mini.com Owners Lounge, looked up my mini and copied the VIN from there. Then I went to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen site Track and Trace page. put the VIN in as the Cargo ID and it told me the name of the ship I was on

Here is the Track and Trace page
http://www.2wglobal.com/www/customer...LaunchPage.htm

Then I used the marine traffic AIS site to follow the ship from UK Southampton to the Panama Canal, and now on it's way to USA.
http://marinetraffic.com/ais/

Keep in mind with the KLines, once they leave the coastlines and hit open waters for Atlantic and Pacific, there is no AIS data, it just says out of range, until they pop up again.

Good luck

Good luck
Same with the "regular" WW boats, the Toscana was out of contact once it got away from the coasts.

Looks like it is still scheduled for the 29th at the Port, dates are mutable though on diff sites, UTC time versus PST I think.

http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...l_schedule.pdf

That is this weeks vessel schedule for Port Hueneme, 29th is still showing
I looked at the travel timing from panama to oxnrd for the last boat with Minis on board, the Toscana, and looks like a full 24 hours from when it showed up on the marine map in baja, to encenada area, and then another 18 hours to oxnard. We are CLOSER!!!!! wooo hooo!
