Hi! I'm a mini newbie.
 

Hi everyone!! I'm really knowledge deficient where minis are concerned. All I do know is that I just LOOOOVE them.
I have been looking for a new vehicle for a while now. I am the original owner of my 1994 Ford Explorer and have loved every minute of owning it, however, my son is now driving age, and I am getting ready to hand the truck down to him.
I was looking at the 2011 Jeep Wrangler for myself, I do really like them a lot. But, then I started looking into the mini coopers, because, I'm thinking, maybe I don't need such a big vehicle anymore since my kids are grown.
I live in NJ and have to be concerned with snow, but I understand, that if minis are equipped with snow tires, they handle well in the snow. Problem, hence, abated.
Since I tend to keep my vehicles for a very long time (forever, lol), it's a big commitment for me.
I'm hoping to learn a lot from all of you on this website!:thumbsup:

I drove a Jeep for 9 years. Actually, I'm still driving it. When MINI came out with the Countryman, that finally brought me over. I really wanted to keep some kind of 4WD system for winters (I live in CT) and I have dogs, so the Clubman wasn't quite the right car for me. The Countryman totally is, so I ordered one yesterday.
