Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself as I've adopted my very first MINI :)

It's an '03 Indi Blue R53 with Black Panther leather and a JCW kit installed. I'm a total newb when it comes to these cars. I've never thought about owning one until I drove one a few months ago...this car offered itself to me and I couldn't say no :razz: My previous ownership history highlights include a MKIV R32, MKV R32 an E39 M5 and a several other less interesting cars. I hope to learn much from everyone on this board :thumbsup:

A little OT but what did you do to dechrome your car? Did you buy some vinyl and cut it to cover the chrome? The first thing I did was to replace the front grills to match the lower black mesh grill and I'd love to continue the theme.

So CAPT.SLO, what part of CO. are you in? Have you thought of joining MINI5280? There are a ton of great people here, and quite a few that can help with mods. And hell if you are in my neck of the woods, I can even help with the installs.:thumbsup:
