So I Narrowed It Down..
Hello all. after all my research and reviewing i have determined that i am going to purchase a 2005 mcs with a 6sp. i have the one in mind. now just need to do the test drive and inspection. it has about 30k on it and looks clean. i have driven a few of them and know i want the supercharger. being as i just sold my saab 9-5 aero with a td06 in it and now ready for something different.. should be picking it up this week and then i will post some pics..

Meaning you have found the car, or that is what you are looking for?
Generally speaking, the '06 is considered the most trouble free of the Gen 1 MINIs. However, an '05 with that low mileage is probably a rare commodity, so if you have one you can test drive and snag, go for it.
I'm sure others will post here what to look out for.

total differnt noise from my experience. but still both have there noises
my blow off valve on my saab could be heard a block away when you let go of the gas, especially with a cold air intake, you could hear the spool all the time.. very fun.. but now time for a change. looking forward to the 05 unless it turns out to be a lemon then still searching for 05-06
