Driver's seat problem
 

Just got a 2004 Mini (:thumbsup:), beautiful blue.

Only problem is the driver's seat is buggered.
It's not stuck, quite the opposite.
It will only lock in the lowest back position (nap time).
It just flops around otherwise; unsafe to drive (:confused: ).

I've tried the fixes for the jammed/stuck seats.
Haven't worked.

Any assitance will be gratefully appreciated.
