I'm new here and just bought my first Mini
Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and new to Mini. I have been wanting one for a long
time...but with 3 kids...all the snow in Wisconsin.....I played practical with my
Subaru Outback. Now that the kids are a little older (1 in High School, 1 in
Middle School, and 1 just finishing her last year in Grade School)...and
with permission from my wife (bless her soul)....I was allowed to have a little
fun and get one. It is a used 2004 MCS, 6 spd. I loved it when I test drove it
and love it even more now that it is sitting in my driveway. Yeah....she may
not be much of a people hauler....but I can honestly say I have never enjoyed
driving a car as much as I do behind the wheel of the mini.
Here she is...the morning after I picked her up:

and then during a weekend stroll through the park:

Welcome!! Congrats on a beautiful car (+1 for shiny clear red paint)!!! I can agree... you will never connect with the road and have a more enjoyable driving experience than with your MINI =) Congrats on the purchase and many years of motoring and modifying!!
