danmay's Chili Red Cooper, Union Jackified
 

Hi All,
Been reading the forum for a couple of weeks and you guys and girls seem a lot more civilized than the Uk based forums :lol:

Picked up my 2001 R50 about a month ago now and have the urge to modify - it's red with white wheels and roof, union jack mirrors, wings and custom roof, and has red interior with full chrome pack :nod:

1st mods so far are a stubby VW aerial and i'm waiting for my magnetic badge and holder to arrive for my grille, it's pretty nicely modified as is, but i 'm feeling tow hook, M7 splitter and CAI in the near future!

I guess we're all not cowboys, which is not a bad thing, welcome to NAM. Lets forget that lil skirmish of 76. Great looking MINI, I especially love the zipper on the roof. Just about every MINI owner I've spoken to has agreat sense of humor.

I don't think the 2001 MINI was sold here in the colonies.
I believe 2002 was the first year for the new MINI on this side of the pond.
