Hi, I'm a new Mini guy/lover, with question.
 

Hello everyone, my first post.

Can anyone please direct me to a thread, or kindly answer this question:

I have a brand new Mini 2009, and trying to find power source for my iPhone 3G. I have the 'Y' cable = no use. I tried the white cable that came with the iPhone = no use = heat my phone up badly. (All gave me 'bolt' icon then 'plug' icon. But once I unplug, the battery indicator goes back down where I started.)

Do I need to use the cigarette adapter (with 12V to 5V adapter conversion)?
