It's been a week. Some thoughts.

Today marks 1 week from when I picked up my custom order MCSC. Over the past 7 days I've only been able to put on 69 miles due to knee surgery 3 weeks ago today. Over those 69 miles I have racked up 3h 7m of Open Motoring, and maybe 1 or 2 minutes of closed motoring (90/10 Contract still very valid .) After this first week my OBC is showing 22.9MPG, which is a bit misleading since I havn't had much motoring and we spend about 40 minutes sitting at the dealership with it running while my MA showed me everything.

As my knee recovery comes along I am able to motor more and more, I have been itching to just go out for a day and knock off a big chunk of my break-in period. Tomorrow will be the unveiling to the local club, which except for a few members don't know about my recent upgrade.

Love the Factory Aero Kit. I love how the lighter colors fill out the car with the pained flares.
Did you trade in your '03?

 Yes, it was so hard pulling off the lot with Itercide sitting there. It felt like he was asking where I was going and when I'd be back.

I can only imagine. You should have taken part of your old car and switched it, like a shifter knob or something to keep them "connected" :P

I have the rear passenger window hanging in my room (it was removed after an accident.) I also have the tail light assemblies and the 3rd brake like which I switched for clear assemblies. And, last but surely not least I have a keyring version of my 03' (accurate to the wheels, except its missing the stripes) on my lanyard with my 09' key.

Plenty of Itercide lives on in the new MINI.
